Influenced by the rock & roll and country music of the 1960’s and the “British Invasion”, I’ve tried to create my own style of writing songs with “something to say.” I’ve been performing as a solo artist throughout Minnesota and several other states, showcasing my music, since 2003.

Prior to my current career as a singer/songwriter, I was a police officer in Southern California, retiring in 2003. It was during the time that I was an officer that I started writing songs and performing in bands. I also pitched my songs to publishers, getting single song contracts for Norma Jean Biker, Walking, and Movin’ On. My last band in California: Meritage, produced two CD’s, Reaching for the Sky and Quiet Storm. We played throughout the Ventura, California area, even opening for original Byrd’s bassist, Chris Hillman. As a solo artist, I’ve put out three CD projects: Sweet Music in 2004 and Another direction in 2008. My recent CD: Songs With Something To Say, is available now.
